Summer Reading Entertainment continues with Elizabeth Vidos, also known as Lady Chops, bringing her one-woman drumming show to Louisiana Libraries this summer! She is a talented percussionist whose past work includes performing in the hit show "STOMP" and the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Her program titled “Drum Roll Please” is energetic, interactive, and fun for all ages as she incorporates over 15 different instruments including buckets, body percussion, and the Cajun rubboard. You don’t want to miss this interactive show for ALL AGES!

This year’s 'Springtime Pops' at Red River Bank Headquarters (1412 Centre Court Dr., Alexandria) will feature “The Music of Elton John and Billy Joel” performed by the touring company Jeans ‘N Classics. As always, this is free and open to the public. Join us for a symphonic rendition of iconic hits such as Piano Man, Philadelphia Freedom, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Tiny Dancer, Big Shot, AND MORE!

BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) and enjoy a variety of local food vendors, classic music with a classical sound, and the company of the community.

Join us for the biggest Crawfish Boil in Cenla on the lawn and patio of Spirits Food and Friends: Live Music with Alligator Blue & more, crawfish by HotHeads, and specialty brews by Huckleberry. Starts at 3pm, crawfish will be served starting at 4pm.
Tickets are $50 for adults, and includes 4lbs of crawfish, corn, potato, sausage and sauce. General Admission tickets without crawfish are $20. Additional crawfish will be available for purchase at event.
