The Alexandria City Council approved Mayor Jeff Hall’s appointment of Dr. Curman Gaines and Col. Katrina Lloyd to serve on the England Economic and Industrial Development District Board of Commissioners during the council’s regular meeting October 1. Alexandria, La., (Aug. 28, 2019) — The City of Alexandria is working to repair a leak in the 42-inch pipe that supplies water from our Kisatchie well field, according to Utility Director Michael Marcotte. Repairs began early this morning and should be complete late on Thursday.
There will be no interruption in water service, however, there could be slight discoloration as the water flow is rerouted while repairs are made.
If a resident experiences discoloration in their water, they should report it on Alex Connects or call (318) 473-1264.

Hunter Park, 2399 Willow Glen Road, to officially name the stadium in honor of long-time Coach Wardell Ballentine.
