AMoA: George Rodrigue-The River is the Road
Culminating its traveling schedule in Alexandria, this exhibit is the first of its kind and traces 45 years of the river in George Rodrigue's paintings, exploring the unique ways Rodrigue used the river as a reference to his Cajun heritage, and ultimately as a metaphor for the journey of life.

Join Madilyn Anderson for a day of printmaking beginning with concept drawings, participants will carve images to create original prints utilizing personal symbols, much like George Rodrigue with his Blue Dog.
