AMoA: George Rodrigue-The River is the Road
Culminating its traveling schedule in Alexandria, this exhibit is the first of its kind and traces 45 years of the river in George Rodrigue's paintings, exploring the unique ways Rodrigue used the river as a reference to his Cajun heritage, and ultimately as a metaphor for the journey of life.

Summer Meals for Kids
Monday-Friday at the Main Library from 11:00am-1:00pm. The Food Bank of Central Louisiana, Inc. is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all eligible children without charge. Meals must be eaten at the Library. Meals are only available during posted times.
Spectral Sisters 10-Minute. Play Festival
Spectral Sisters Productions (SSP) presents "What Had Happened Was…," an evening of provocatively original ten-minute plays, Thursday, May 29 through Sunday, June 1, 2025. SSP's 10-Minute Play Festival features contest-winning works by local and regional writers and casts of local players.
