Guests 21-and-over can sip on craft brews and wine, rock out to live music, play games, and get up-close with some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors. Additional beer and wine and tasty food truck fare from Z's Southern Soul, Debbie's Meat Pies, and Dat Truck available for purchase.

Hop, soar and slither into reading with animal-themed children’s stories at stations around the Zoo. Visit with costumed character Clifford the Big Red Dog, get hands on with unique animal artifacts and crafts, and get up close with some of Alexandria Zoo's animal ambassadors!

10th Annual Alcohol and Tobacco-Free Parade Viewing Area during the Alexandria Mardi Gras Association Krewes Parade. Come out to enjoy games, activities, food, water and music in a family friendly area before the parade rolls at 2pm. Free and open to the public. Throw bags provided at the gate. Lawn chairs are welcome. See flyer and map for more details. Thank you for observing our regulations - no smoking, tobacco, vaping or alcohol. No ice chests or pets. Security provided.
