June 26, 2026

ATRANS will observe the Independence Day holiday on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Bus service will not run on Saturday, July 4.

Regular daytime and nighttime bus service will run on Friday, July 3, 2026.

ATRANS will resume its normal service schedule on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 6:10 am.

June 20, 2026

The Cabrini route is paused today from 6am until 10am. Regular service will resume at 10am until 6pm.

Willow Glen service will pause from 10am to 2pm. Regular service will resume at 2pm until 6pm.

England Airpark service will pause at 2pm until 6pm.

Night service routes will run as normal.

June 18, 2026

ATRANS is monitoring weather conditions for safety. Schedules may be different due to weather. England Airpark service will go down at 11am and is expected to resume at 2pm.

June 16, 2026

The Jackson Street route will go down from 2 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday, 6/16/26, and is expected to resume normal service on Wednesday, 6/17/26, at 6:10 am.

Passengers have the following options during the outage at 3 pm and 5 pm:

1. Passengers can catch (102) MacArthur Drive for service along Jackson Street extension to Belleau Wood Boulevard. The bus will return to the MacArthur service road and resume its regular route.

2. Passengers near Church’s Chicken can catch (102) MacArthur Drive for service near the Jackson/MacArthur Drive service road inbound (headed) to the terminal.

3. Passengers who need the bus in the Lower Third/Acadian Village area past Willow Glenn Road can catch (301) Willow Glenn for service in this area. The bus will return to Third Street and resume its regular route.

June 15, 2026

Atrans will operate 3 buses tonight 6/15/26 for Night Service. Rt 1 will run at 6pm and 9pm, Rt 2 will operate at 7pm and 8pm. Rts 3,4 will operate normally. Full Night Service is expected to resume at 6pm on Tuesday 6/16/26.

June 13, 2026

Due to the Juneteenth Parade today, June 13, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm, bus routes and schedules for Broadway, Route 1 and Route 2 may experience delays or slight changes.


Normal service is expected to resume after 7:00 pm.

May 29, 2026

The England Airpark route will go down from 2 pm to 6 pm, Saturday, 5/30/26, and full service will resume Monday, 6/1/26 at 6:10 am. RT 1 night service will run as normal, starting at 6 pm.

The Willow Glen route will go down from 12 pm to 2 pm and will resume normal service at 2 pm. Full service will resume Monday, 6/1/26 at 6:10 am.

Passengers may still access service for the Willow Glenn route during this time at the following nearby locations:

Board Route #201 Broadway / Wal-Mart for service to:
• Alexandria Mall
• Wal-Mart / North Mall Drive

ATRANS is monitoring weather conditions for safety reasons. All routes are currently down. Normal service is expected to resume at 10:00am. Schedules may be different due to the weather.

May 4, 2026

Three buses will operate on Night service tonight. RT 1 will run at 6pm and 8pm and Rt 2 will run at 7pm and 9pm. Rt 3 and Rt 4 will run as normal. Normal service expected to resume tomorrow 5/5 at 6pm.

April 28, 2026

ATRANS will temporarily move its terminal to the Bolton Avenue Community Center for the River Fête Festivities as follows:
Beginning Thursday, Apr 30, 2026, at 6:10 AM, ALL service will start from the Bolton Avenue Community center and will continue at this location until regular service resumes at the Downtown terminal on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:10 AM.
Bus service will be limited in the downtown area. Passengers needing to arrive at the Community Center can catch buses downtown, as listed below, as these buses are leaving (outbound) or returning (inbound) to the Center:
  • Outbound RTE 102 MacArthur, RTE 501 Alex Mall at Medical Center/6th Street.
  • Outbound RTE 201 Broadway, RTE 301 Willow Glenn, and RTE 701 England at Foisy/Elliott.
  • Outbound/Inbound RTE 601 Pineville at Bolton/Jackson to 2nd street.
  • Inbound RTE 101 Jackson from 6th to 16th street /Jackson.
