The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will conduct road work on the Union Pacific Railroad track at Airbase Road and Highway 1. The road will be closed on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
The roadway will be completely closed to all traffic during this time. This closure will impact the England Airpark and NS Route 1 bus routes.
During this closure, the nearest bus stop is at the back gate of The Oaks Mobile Home Park on Airbase Road.
