Please be advised that service on the 601 Pineville and RT 4 Night service route will be detoured from Main Street and Line Street near Pineville High School due to the City of Pineville Mardi Gras Parade beginning and ending on 2/21/25.
Route Detours will begin at 2 pm until 10 pm as follows:
Outbound 601 (Day) – From the Downtown terminal bus service will use the Pineville Expressway and begin at Melrose/Reagan Street and continue on route normally.
Inbound 601 (Day) – Inbound – Returning to the Downtown terminal, regular route will continue until return from Veterans Hospital. At this point, the bus will merge onto US 165 and continue straight across Gillis Long Bridge and use North 3rd Street and continue to the terminal.
Night Service RT 4 will leave the terminal normally but will follow the same Inbound route as Day service.
Passengers are encouraged to get to the nearest stops in these areas to access bus service.
