 ffair." \n\nIgnite The Mic Alexandria is the longest running poetry orga
 nization in Central Louisiana\, and the number one gathering place for a
 rtists and lovers of the arts. Ignite The Mic Alexandria is a local and 
 privately funded creative initiative centered around unity\, inclusion\,
  diversity\, and healing through the arts. We believe freedom of speech\
 , self-determination\, and the pursuit of creative excellence are inalie
 nable rights. Furthermore\, we believe poetry can be used to create a he
 althy dialogue about issues\, often deemed taboo to discuss. We strive t
 o create an understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives by c
 ultivating and amplifying creative voices.  \n\nGet dressed up and join 
 us for a night to remember! Ignite The Mic Alexandria requests the pleas
 ure of your company at our annual gala. Network\, gain resources\, promo
 te your business\, meet new clients\, and make new friends. Do it all wh
 ile enjoying food\, drinks\, poetry\, singing\, dancing\, and live music
 . A portion of the show will be dedicated to the 2024 fundraising cam
 paign of Ignite The Mic Alexandria. \n\nFeatured Artists of the Night: H
 ailing from the Shreveport-Bossier region\, Q Major and Tyrone Marcell h
 ave been making a name for themselves with their dynamic  violin perform
 ances. Although they each have over a decade of classical music experien
 ce\, R&amp\;B and Hip-Hop is how they express their love for music.\n\nT
 his great event will take place Sunday\, November 12\, 2023 at 6:30pm at
  the Alexandria Museum of Art.\nDoors open at 6:25pm\nCocktails and Conv
 ersations: 6:30pm-7:00pm\nLive Entertainment: 7:00-8:30pm\n$45 | Single 
 Ticket Purchase\n$85 | Couple Ticket Purchase\n\nYour gala ticket is you
 r passport to experience a night full of new connections\, amazing enter
 tainment\, and fun. Advance ticket purchase via Eventbrite is required. 
 Ticket purchase includes food and drink ticket. No outside food or drink
 s allowed. This is a great night to show off your best business or class
 y formal wear. No jeans. Those identifying as female are not "required" 
 to wear a dress. However\, dresses worn must be calf length or longer.  
 No see-through or sheer material. Dress code strictly enforced. We reser
 ve the right to refuse entry for dress code\, and a refund will not be g
